Abstract Art can have many meanings. For many it could mean art without any form or structure with no discernable feature. Some may even find it random rambling with colours. Yet I feel that abstract art is one of the highest forms of expression as it’s beyond shape, form and structure. It is art or a feeling emanating from the heart.
While conceptualising this exhibition we contacted many artists. And even though most of them are know for their own unique style of painting, it turned out that inbetween almost everyone works on abstract creation. It is their way of taking a break.
We are also privileged to have with us renowned artist Amitabh Sengupta who is famous all over the world for his Abstract paintings.
Special mention must also be made of Gulrez Ali from Bhopal who has been passionately putting colour on huge canvases for over seventeen years.
